BJ's Quick Twin Serger Quilt $10.00

BJ's QUICK TWIN size 90" by 60" is a 2-layer scrappy patchwork quilt made on a serger. It uses straight seams with the 4-thread overlock stitch. There is no batting so it does not require quilting. It makes a wonderful lightweight summer quilt if made with all cotton fabrics. Made with flannels it makes a heavier cozy winter quilt. The front and back design are the same patchwork blocks, making it a reversible quilt, one side showing the serged seams and the other side plain blocks. I have also included information to help with color selection and design principles. When I hosted the Katrina Relief serging day, I had 2 helpers who had never used a serger before, they had no problems and we managed to complete 2 twin size and 4 crib size quilts in a day with 5 helpers. It generally takes about 3 hours to complete the twin but many have finished it in 2 hours.
